TBN's Premier Cycling Event

Cyclon® is the three-day premier cycle touring event hosted by the Toronto Bicycling Network, one of Canada’s largest recreational cycling clubs.  It takes place over the August Civic Holiday long weekend. TBN is a not-for-profit club and Cyclon is a not-for-profit event. In its 29th year, Cyclon will be held in Ottawa.  Previous destinations include Peterborough, Kingston, Barrie, St. Catharines, Waterloo, Guelph, Belleville, and London. Don’t miss this event!

We will be gathering at the University of Ottawa in beautiful, historic downtown Ottawa from July 31 to August 3, 2015.

Road riding with various route options:

  • Fabulous, scenic cycling in the Gatineau hills and the Ottawa Valley
  • Distances vary from 30 to 170 km
  • Designed for every level of cyclist
  • Detailed map and cue sheets provided
  • Experienced ride leaders and sweeps
  • Sag wagon for rider assistance


  • Three nights lodging in an air conditioned room 2 rooms per suite) with housekeeping and double bed.
  • Linens and towels provided
  • Bikes are allowed in the unit
  • Each suite has a refrigerator, microwave and small dining area

  • Breakfasts (unfortunately, we will have the same food service company as last year, despite our best efforts - see details on the registration page)
  • Parking (If you are driving a car, you will require this option.  There is no free or street parking nearby)
