    Our Premier Cycling Event

Cyclon® is the three-day premier cycle touring event hosted by the Toronto Bicycling Network, one of Canada’s largest recreational cycling club.  It takes place over the August Civic Holiday long weekend. TBN is a not-for-profit club and Cyclon is a not-for-profit event. In its 27th year, Cyclon will be held at Trent University in Peterborough.  Previous destinations include Kingston, Barrie, St. Catherines, Waterloo, Guelph, Belleville, and London. Don’t miss this event! 

There are only 200 places available for 2013 and registration has opened!

We will be gathering in Peterborough at Trent University’s Gzowski College from August 2 to 5, 2013.

    • a free night off to explore local highlights such as: a dinner cruise on the Trent River, the famous Little Lake Music Festival in downtown Peterborough, local theatre productions, or working out at the Trent University athletic complex

Rides:

Road riding with various route options:

•   Distances vary from 40 to 170 km

•   Designed for every level of cyclist

•   Detailed map and cue sheets provided

•   Experienced ride leaders and sweeps

•   Sag wagon for rider assistance

Accommodations:


•   Three nights lodging in an air conditioned room with housekeeping and double bed

•   Linens and towels provided

•   Bikes are allowed in the unit

•   A refrigerator and microwave in each of the two common rooms on each of the two residence floors

Meal Packages:

Base package includes:

•   Lodging

•   Friday night pizza

•   Sunday night dinner/dance

•   Afternoon social events

Options:

•   Breakfasts

•   Saturday barbecue
