For this Sunday, The Weather Network forecasts a high of 4C and an 80% POP in the afternoon, so I plan on walking rather than cycling. If you would like to join me for an unofficial walk, meet me on Sunday, April 14, at 10 AM in Dufferin Station, at street level, near the north-west corner of Dufferin and Bloor.
We will walk in a south-easterly direction, with several stops, going to WVRST Restaurant for sausages and beer, and ending up at Osgoode Station at a distance of 9.5 Km. We should never be more than about 1/2 Km from transit with 10 minute or better service(streetcar or bus) at any time.
The approximate distances to points of interest and break locations are:
There is currently a scheduled subway closure on the Yonge Line this weekend from Bloor-Yonge to Osgoode Station in case this affects your travel plans to or from the walk. However, please check https://www.ttc.ca/Service_Advisories/Subway_closures/index.jsp for any changes.
The planned route is available on Ride With GPS at: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/29563799.
Non-members are welcome. This is not an official TBN event, so no one will be asked to sign the waiver form and no one will be charged the non-member fee.
If you have trouble finding us at the start, please call me on my cell at 416-917-8866. If I don't answer, try again, as I may miss the first call.
