Coping with a crash: tips from lawyer and bicycle advocate

Come to our special education/information session with lawyer Patrick Brown, a cycling advocate and the founder of Bike Law Canada, on your best response to a bicycle accident. Do you know what to do, or what information you need to collect? The session takes place on June 25 at the Deer Park Library on St Clair Avenue East. Please register on the TBN website.

Less than 30 spots left for Cyclon

You're running out of time to register for Cyclon, TBN's flagship three-day out-of-town cycling event. Ride quiet country roads past traditional Mennonite farms as we visit the Waterloo area from August 3-6, with comfortable accommodation on the Wilfrid Laurier campus. Registration closes on July 9. See the website for more details.

Sign up now for the TBN Toogood picnic

Register now for TBN's annual picnic, in scenic Toogood park in Markham on August 12. You'll have a choice of rides to get to the picnic, which is a great opportunity to meet up with people and exchange cycling notes. The event is free, but we ask you to register so we know how much food to order.

Ride with GO

Our annual use-the-GO rides are under way, with several rides to look forward to over the summer season:

July 7: Take the train to Niagara Falls and ride back to St Catharine's for dinner and the train ride back. It's a 65km ride. Register here.

August 11: Take the train to St Catharines, and ride to Niagara Falls, along a slightly longer (70km) route that includes a scenic stretch along the Welland canal and a short ferry ride. Register here
