We took our Garmin Edge 1030 to France with the courses downloaded, but when we try to use it there are no navigation instructions. We didn't go into Garmin Express and specifically download maps of Europe before downloading the courses. We're wondering if that is the problem. Does anybody have experience with this? Any suggestions as to what we can do? We tried Ride With GPS on an iphone, but it kills the battery within a couple of hours. Many thanks!
i never had much problem with Samsung phone & Ridewithgps app but i dont like leaving display on & i use a handlebar clamp to hold phone. I use a charger too.
