Was it not possible to have at one route per day that's all paved?
The problem is once you get out of the Toronto region the small municipalities just do not have the money to pave many roads. They also do not coordinate their roadwork with nearby municipalities because again they just do not have the funding So as you ride longer routes you are going to run into gravel somewhere down the line.. That is the reality of the situation.
