I have personally selected drive train components for this bicycle 2 years ago to support both on-road and off-road touring.

This is your excellent opportunity to get an affordable touring bike.

    • Low granny gear (18 gear inches) will allow you to easily climb any hills in Toronto / GTA and across Ontario.
    • Wide gear span provides enough speed on flat terrain
    • A sturdy steel frame allows for a steady ride under heavy load. New handlebars and stem provide upright position while riding, giving you the best comfort during long rides and situational awareness on the road.
    • Bar ends are convenient to climb the hills at low speed.
    • Wide tires can easily handle gravel and off-road cycling.

    The following are replaced components:

    1. Shimano drive-train including bottom bracket, with index shifters: chain rings 22-32-42, Cogs 9/11-34 resulting in gear inch ratio from 18 to 106

    2. Wheels: Alex rims 18  700c

    3. Fenders

    4. Tires Schwalbe Mondial 40-622

    5. Chain

    6. Handlebar and stem

    7. Bar ends

    8. Ergonomic handles

I have ridden this bike 3,500 km since May 16th 2022 in the city and along many rail trails in Ontario. Selling it to make room for another bicycle.

    Selling price at Kijiji: $1350.00

Price for TBN members only: 10% discount = $1215.00

Will throw in an used  Brooks B17 saddle for additional $100.

You are welcome to have a test ride in Forest Hill village.
