Doors Open Toronto will be held this year on May 27 and 28. I plan on visiting a few of the sites, most likely on the Saturday (May 27), but it will depend on the weather, what walks are being offered, and what rides TBN will be running. If you are interested in joining some TBN people to visit a few of the sites please email me at citywalks@tbn.ca, and we will see if we can arrange a meet up and find some mutual sites to visit.
The Doors Open list of events is at https://www.doorsopenontario.on.ca/pages/events/toronto. Have a look to see if there are any sites you would find particularly interesting, and let me know. We already have one person who would like to visit the RC Harris Filtration Plant, if it will be open this year.

My plans for this year’s Doors Open Toronto 2023 are as follows:
Meet Saturday, May 27 at about 10:00 AM at Victoria Park Station, outside the main entrance on the east side of Victoria Park Avenue, just south of the bridge. We will leave at the usual time of 10:10 AM and walk 2.6 Km to R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant. We expect to arrive there at about 10:45 AM, if you would like to meet there. Doors Open info for this site is at:
I intend to stay there until around noon or so and then take the TTC to the Port Lands Flood Protection Project. Depending on which TTC route we use, this will involve a walk of either 630 m or 1.6 Km. Doors Open info for this site is at:
I have a scheduling conflict, and will need to leave the walk before 2:00 PM, so I will not be visiting any additional sites, however, participants may wish to continue the walk. From the Port Lands Flood Protection Project, you can take TTC to Union Station (about 25 minutes, via 72 or 202 buses).
If you have any questions about this, please email me at citywalks@tbn.ca. If you need to contact me during the walk, call or message me at 416-917-8866.
