TBN Sponsorship Guidelines

The chart below is a guide that we use to show the approximate level of promotion that a sponsor can receive with their gift of cash or gifts in kind at various levels. Sponsorship details are negotiated and confirmed in written email contracts with each sponsor on a case by case basis.

Additional Notes on TBN Sponsorship

  • In Kind donations are also gladly accepted at minimum of 50% of total value
  • We encourage creative out of the box thinking and welcome any ideas you feel will work for your business and relationship building with TBN
  • This chart is a guide, sponsorships are relative to each other based on sponsors at any one time during the sponsorship period
  • No exclusivity is promised, however, for larger sponsors, we will attempt to limit the number of businesses in one product/category/type or can be negotiated.

Sponsorship with TBN gives your business an opportunity to build a relationship with a large, active and engaged GTA community throughout the cycling season and beyond.

Why does TBN want sponsorships? What do we do with the money?

Sponsors help TBN:

  • Keep membership fees affordable rather than increasing them every time our hard costs go up. (for technology, insurance, fixed expenses for the club)
  • Support rides, events and social activities throughout the season.
  • Invest in better communications, technology and member services.
  • Promote the club and attract new members, helping keep TBN strong and growing. (promotional materials, swag)
  • Provide member perks and special offers through our business partners. (jersey subsidies for volunteers, prizes and giveaways for events and doing surveys, contests)

Sponsorship isn't just about putting a company's logo on our website. The goal is to build mutually beneficial relationships with businesses that want to connect with our members and support the cycling community.

Think of it this way: your $50 annual membership makes TBN possible. Sponsorship helps us make TBN better.
