Air Quality and Cancellation of TBN Events
This spring, TBN formalized its policy regarding cancellation of, or changes to, events when the weather merits those changes. These guidelines were based upon the Ontario Cycling Association's corresponding guidelines.
With the current weather, including it dangerous Air Quality Health Index levels, we are expecting our Program Coordinators, and their Ride/Event Leaders to follow the club's Weather Cancellation Guidelines (click here).
Recent Toronto area AQHI values have been as high as 11, considered Very High, which justify cancellation of outdoor activities.
